This page provides an aggregated analysis of how influential PR companies are on the web and social media.
To create this list, we used the Global Top 250 PR Firms from Holmes Report.
The inputs to the ranking are Klout score, website traffic according to Alexa, and Twitter followers. See below for our metholodology. Note that currently Twitter points are 10%, Alexa points are 40% and Klout points are 50%. Companies whose Twitter account does not have a Klout score are not included in the list.

Influence Rankings Methodology
The social media and web influence of each PR company is assessed using three indicators, each of which is given a different percentage weighting. A brief explanation is provided below.

Alexa provides a global traffic ranking for websites based on a panel of millions of browsers.
The Alexa global site rank is scaled to a number between 0–10 to determine the Alexa points. The formula used for scaling is listed below:
Klout provides an influence score for the social media activity of individuals and organizations by analyzing and aggregating 45 billion interactions daily across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other channels.
Klout points are incorporated into our algorithm using the following formula:
The number of followers on Twitter are used to determine Twitter points which is a number between 0-10. The formula used for calculating this parameter is similar to the one used for calculating Alexa points:
Net Influence Points
The system then uses the points calculated above to assign net influence points to each PR company. The following formula is used to calculate the net influence points, which is a number between 0-10:
w1, w2, & w3 are weighing parameters so that w1 + w2 + w3 = 100. Currently, w1=10, w2=40 & w3=50.
